I needed to find a local storage unit & had never done so before. When I called, Lucy was incredibly helpful and with a great combination of friendliness and professionalism she helped me get the right unit. After setting up a reservation I received a call immediately from Shannon to set up a meeting for the following day. The morning after the call. I traveled to the conveniently located facility & met Shannon in person. Shannon couldn’t be more helpful! She was friendly, showed the facility and answered all my questions. When we did the paperwork, Shannon explained every step of the way so as to make it clearer. She was not pushing me to get any extras and made sure I understood anything I was signing. In short Shannon was personable, humorous but still very professional. She makes one feel very confident that this was a great facility. I can’t say enough about my pleasant experience here and I highly recommend using them!

For example, if you have an oversized sectional sofa, it's best to disassemble it into smaller pieces and wrap each piece in furniture pads or shrink wrap. This will help protect the couch from dust and scratches while in storage. If you have a smaller sofa, leave it assembled and cover it with a furniture pad or tarp. Regardless of the size or style of your sofa, always place it on a pallet or other raised surface to prevent moisture damage. Following these tips will help ensure that your couch stays in good condition while in storage.

If you're planning on storing a table in a storage unit, there are a few things you'll need to do to make sure it's adequately protected. First, clean the table thoroughly and apply a layer of furniture polish to help protect it from dust. It would help if you wrapped the table in felt or another soft material to prevent scratches. Finally, place the table on top of some old blankets or towels to help cushion it in case anything falls on it during storage. With these simple steps, you can rest assured that your table will stay in excellent condition while it's stored in your storage unit.

This will help to keep them clean and free of dust. If you are stacking chairs, be sure to place them on a dolly or something similar to prevent them from being damaged by the weight of the other chairs. If you're lucky enough to have a storage unit, you might wonder how best to store your outdoor furniture. After all, you want to keep it in good condition so you can enjoy it for years. Here are a few tips for storing outdoor furniture in a storage unit: First, make sure the furniture is clean and dry before storing it. This will help to prevent mold and mildew from developing. Second, disassemble the furniture into smaller pieces. This will make fitting into the storage unit more accessible and help protect delicate parts. Finally, wrap each piece of furniture in a soft cloth or blanket before putting it into the storage unit. This will help to pad and keep dust and dirt from accumulating on the furniture. By following these simple tips, you can help to ensure that your outdoor furniture stays in good condition while it's in storage.
When storing pillows in a self-storage unit, it's essential to take a few extra steps to protect them from damage: Make sure they're clean and dry before packing them away. Pillows can absorb moisture from the air, so it's a good idea to seal them in plastic bags or wrap them in plastic film. This will help keep them dry and prevent mold or mildew from forming. Try to store them in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing pillows in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can cause the fabric to fade or deteriorate. Keep them tight enough. Stuffed pillows need space to breathe, so leave room for air circulation when packing them away. These simple precautions can help ensure that your cushions stay fresh and damage-free while in storage.
A 10x20 storage unit is an excellent option for those needing extra storage space. But how much furniture will it hold? It all depends on the size and type of furniture you have. For example, a 10x20 storage unit can comfortably fit a three-bedroom apartment's worth of furniture. This includes more oversized items like mattresses, dressers, couches, and smaller items like chairs, end tables, and lamps. If you need to store more delicate items, such as china or crystal, consider renting a climate-controlled storage unit. These units will help to protect your belongings from extreme temperatures and humidity levels. If you have any questions on if a 10x20 would be the right fit for you, call our facility today, and a highly trained staff member will be happy to help you make the perfect decision.
Moving can be stressful, and choosing the right moving truck is one of the most significant decisions. After all, you want to ensure that your belongings will fit comfortably and that you won't have to make multiple trips. So, what size moving truck do you need for a three-bedroom home? Moving from or to a 3-bedroom house, you'll need at least a 26-foot truck. This size moving truck can hold up to 5,200 pounds of furniture and boxes, which should be more than enough for a 3-bedroom home. Generally, you'll need about 10-15 moving boxes per room. A three-bedroom home will typically have around 30-45 moving boxes. Therefore, you'll need a moving truck accommodating at least 30 boxes. However, it's always better to err on caution, so you may choose a larger moving truck that can hold between 40-50 moving boxes. This will give you extra space if you have more oversized items or need to pack more than anticipated.
A 4-bedroom house will usually need a 10x20 storage unit. If you have a lot of furniture or appliances, you may need a larger unit, such as a 10x30. If you plan to store items long-term, consider renting a climate-controlled unit, which will help protect your belongings from damage due to temperature and humidity changes. When selecting a storage unit, take inventory of the items you need to store and any access restrictions at the facility (such as limited hours or stairs). You can also ask the facility manager for recommendations based on your specific needs. With some planning, you can easily find the perfect storage unit for your 4-bedroom house.
If you're moving or need to declutter your home, consider renting a storage unit. But how do you make the most of the space? Here are some tips for packing a 10x20 storage unit so that everything fits securely and is easy to access. First, start by making a list of everything you need to store. This will help you determine the space you need and what items can be packed together. Next, consider using storage bins and containers to keep smaller items organized. You can also use boxes, but they can take up more space and be more difficult to stack. Leave a walkway down the middle of the unit so you can easily access everything. Finally, remember to label everything to find what you need when you need it. With these tips, packing a 10x20 storage unit is easy!
When storing furniture in a storage unit, it is important to take the time to stack everything in a way that will minimize damage and make the most efficient use of space. Heavy items should be placed on the bottom, followed by lighter items. Try to disassemble larger pieces of furniture and store them in smaller pieces. For example, take the legs off a table before storing them. This will make it easier to move around and stack other items on top of it. Additionally, be sure to wrap delicate items in blankets or bubble wrap to protect them from scratches or other damage. By taking the time to pack and stack your furniture properly, you can help ensure that it comes out of storage in the same condition that it went in.
Most storage units that are big enough to hold a couch are approximately 10x10 feet. However, the size of the unit you'll need ultimately depends on the size of your couch. For example, a standard loveseat is about 54 inches wide, while a large sectional sofa can be over 120 inches wide. If you have a standard loveseat, you could probably get away with renting a 5x5 storage unit. But if you have a larger piece of furniture, you'll need at least a 10x10 unit. If you need help determining what size storage unit you need, our team would be happy to help! Just give us a call or stop by our facility, and we'll help you find the perfect space for your belongings.

Many items need to be stored in climate control to ensure that they remain in good condition. For example, fabrics and clothing will quickly become damaged by molds, mildews, and rust if they are exposed to damp conditions. Similarly, wooden furniture and musical instruments will warp or crack if they are kept in humid or dry environments. Paper-based materials can also be susceptible to moisture damage and discoloration from excessive light exposure. In addition, electronics such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets will suffer from corrosion if exposed to extreme temperatures or high levels of humidity for long periods. Therefore, these items must be maintained in climate-controlled storage units where you can monitor their temperature and humidity levels.
Climate-controlled storage is a great option for anyone who wants to protect their belongings from changing weather conditions. Whether you need to store your furniture and household items during a big move, safeguard items that you're planning on selling at an upcoming garage sale, or need a safe place to store things. At the same time, your house is being renovated, climate-controlled storage provides the perfect environment for keeping your possessions in top condition. It offers protection from extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, harsh sunlight, and pests like bugs and rodents. Regarding storage, we often ask ourselves: "Can a queen-size bed fit in a 5x5 storage unit?" The answer is maybe. It depends on how you can break down the bed and if you plan on storing any other furniture. For example, if the headboard and footboard are detached from the frame, they can fit alongside other pieces in the 5x5 unit. However, if the bed frame is left intact, it may be too large to fit inside the 5x5 space, or there may need to be more room for other items. So yes, a queen mattress can fit inside a 5x5 storage unit if correctly set up. When in doubt, give us a call or come by for a tour of our facility. Our friendly, professional staff would happily help you select the proper storage unit.

Depending on the size and style of your couch, there are different ways to store it in a storage unit. Be sure to clean the couch before storing it, as this will help keep it in good condition while in storage. Regardless of the size or style of your sofa, always place it on a pallet or other raised surface to prevent moisture damage. Following these tips will help ensure that your couch stays in good condition while in storage.
There are a few things to keep in mind when storing a recliner chair in a storage unit: Please ensure the chair is clean and dry before being stored. This will help to prevent mold and mildew from forming. Choose a storage unit that is big enough to accommodate the chair comfortably. Find a unit with climate control to protect the chair from extreme temperatures. Consider using furniture pads or blankets to wrap the chair, which will help to keep it free from dust and scratches. Following these simple tips ensures that your recliner chair stays in good condition while in storage.
Many people use storage units to store extra furniture, seasonal items, or even their home contents while moving. While most storage units are designed to protect your belongings from the elements, there are a few things you can do to ensure that your chairs are properly protected: If possible, store chairs in their original packaging. This will help to keep them clean and free of dust. If you are stacking chairs, be sure to place them on a dolly or something similar to prevent them from being damaged by the weight of the other chairs. If you are storing chairs for an extended period, wrap them in breathable fabric to prevent them from mildewing. Following these simple tips can help ensure that your chairs stay in good condition while in storage.

It's essential to wrap the desk in a protective material such as bubble wrap or blankets to prevent scratches or other damage. By following these simple tips, you can rest assured that your desk will be safe and sound in storage.
There are a few things you'll want to keep in mind when storing a table stand in a storage unit: Consider the material the table is made of. If it's made of wood, you'll want to ensure the storage unit is climate controlled to prevent the wood from warping or cracking. Think about how you'll need to access the table. If you need to use it often, you'll want to choose a storage unit that's easily accessible. Consider the size of the table.
First, you need to decide what type of SUV you have. Are you moving a small SUV like a Honda CR-V or a larger one like a Chevy Tahoe?
