SecureSpace Self Storage recently completed a comprehensive renovation of their recently acquired location in Clearwater, FL - incorporating a fresh new look, expanded parking options, a new professional reception area with free WiFi, and upgrades to security, weatherproofing & roofing. SecureSpace quickly mobilized their architecture team to reimagine the property, working with local resources & engaging the operations team to poll customers to determine how to best serve the Clearwater market. SecureSpace is pleased to announce the acquisition of a development site in Downtown Los Angeles’ South Park neighborhood. Located in one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Los Angeles, the facility will have frontage along Interstate 10, where over 295,000 vehicles pass per day. The property is highly complementary to SecureSpace’s development at 1535 Essex Street, also located in Downtown Los Angeles which is currently under construction. The ground-up development will be built in an area where the average self storage facility age is 26 years old, and will consist of a 102,000 NRSF 5-story facility.

SecureSpace is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 2.3-acre site in the city of Kapolei, located on the island of Oahu. Strategically positioned near Honolulu’s busiest highway, Interstate H-1, the facility will serve nearby residents with a household median income of $103,000 within a 3-mile radius. The ground-up development consists of a 104,000 NRSF 3-story facility which is supported by Kapolei’s fast growing resident population that is expected to quadruple by 2035.

SecureSpace is pleased to announce the acquisition of a 3.9-acre site in the North Bay subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area. Continuing their growth in the Tacoma, WA region, SecureSpace is pleased to announce the acquisition of a Storage Etc. property in Tacoma’s Lakewood neighborhood. The 52,000 NRSF facility is located at 12611 Pacific Highway Southwest and will be rebranded as SecureSpace Lakewood. The 100% single-story store will offer drive-up and interior units, along with 35 rentable parking spots. The 44,000 NRSF facility is located at 94-130 Leokane St, and will be rebranded as SecureSpace Waipahu. SecureSpace secured a $140 million loan from Acore Capital to fund its national self storage development pipeline. JLL Capital Markets arranged the loan, which has the ability to expand up to $215 million. SecureSpace operates facilities under the SecureSpace Self Storage brand.
