Good Experience. Always able to enter. Backing in has a great advantage. Never see any staff and last time I came a bay door was permanently in the open position. I tried to close it. No success. Stayed open even as I was leaving. No issues though. Did not see or hear anyone around. Moderately concerned about security being wide open to a busy area on Four Mile Run. My bin in very secure. Lighting can be intermittent in my aisle. A cost saving measure I’m sure. I like the location. That’s about it. Cost per month us still a concern fir a retiree at 80 years of age. Pls consider some flexibility in that regard. Thank you. Overall the experience is very good. Thank you!

Zai was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. I will actually be requesting her specifically each time I call or have any interactions. Each of the agents are great, however, it was so pleasant with her. Thank you for making a not so fun situation (moving/stressful) just a little less stressful.

Update4/27/2026: SecureSpace Made It Right! I want to give a full picture here. After my last post, SecureSpace reached out directly. They lowered our rental increase, took time to thoroughly explain the reasons behind it, and apologized for the aggressive nature and sudden timing of the original notice. They also offered us a free month for May as a concession, which is actually a huge deal right now when everyone is watching every penny closely. On top of that, they gave us a direct Senior Manager contact for any future concerns. I have to say — this has gone a long way toward changing my view. When a company gets something wrong, it matters that they legitimately make an effort to make it right. SecureSpace has done that, and because of their response we’ve decided to keep doing business with them. Original issues still happened: the $100 jump in February after a November special ended, elevator outages that added moving costs, and the debt collection calls while we were trying to reach management. Those were real and stressful, especially after losing our federal jobs. But credit where it’s due — their team stepped up, reduced the increase to $252 + $17 insurance, added a free month for May, and opened a direct line of communication. That level of accountability matters to us. We’ll be staying at SecureSpace Arlington for now and monitoring how things go. I think it’s important to share when companies listen and correct course, not just when they mess up. I have change my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

Spoke on the phone with Lester about the logistics of closing out my storage space. He was friendly, polite, and helpful. I am not moving out of my space due to any complaints about SecureSpace or the staff or facility. I am just cutting back on possessions and expenses, and this helps me with both.
